When you switch from Diesel to gas vechicle do you find yourself waiting for the glow plugs/ grid heater to warm up?

I have waited a few times in winter for the hemi grid heaters to warm. Lol.
I never wait for the heaters in the CTD anymore until its to cold out and she snips and snarls at me. Then I get reminded to wait for it. Usually not til it gets about 20* or less out.
