Just curious because the wife and I are chomping on the bit to pull out the camper and get ready to hit it this spring..We still have another month or so I guess..woke up this morning to -8 here in southern Ohio.

I've twice made the mistake of working hard to winterize my unit only to pull it out too early in March and have a freeze break something. Granted, it's just a trailer so it's not like a house pipe crack.Still, Central Indiana can be very far below 32 well into April. These are really just big toys, you have to follow the rules if you want to keep them nice.

What camper? OH! That Camper! It's going to be a while. We're on the side of a mountain so I'll have wait until the snow melts off the ice. Then I might be able to get the tractor out of the ditch because it's half way down our 800 foot long driveway stuck in ice. We've been snowed in for a week and a half and it's not going to start to melt for 3 more days. There's an inch of ice under 4 inches of snow. I don't know how long it's going to take for us to see blacktop again. At least we have power and water. Many in Tennessee don't. The covered docks at the lake sunk and took the boats (under the roof) down with them. It's a mess! Now we'll have all that gas and oil in the lake. One day at a time.

We usually de-winterize the first week of April, sooner if weather permits. However it can still snow a couple of weeks into April. It just takes me about fifteen minutes and a gallon and a half of the pink stuff, so I don't mind to re-winterize a time or two if I need to.BTW, it snowed six inches here last night! :M

UGHHH Can't happen soon enough for me!! Mine is in the driveway, covered up, looking cold and lonesome. Dying to get in there and do some work!

I have not used my TT before May 1 yet before this year. This year we are towing it to South Carolina leaving April 3. I''ll probably get it from storage March 28. If the temps look bad, I can de-winterize after traveling the first day. It doesn't take long.

Those that store their campers..when you pulling them out!

At the rate the snow keep piling up it may be July!

I am in it almost every day rebuilding some of the interior so the snow can't go soon enough.

Heading out next Friday for a 4.5 hour drive to the beach in Mexico. Should be in the 70s.

When its brutally hot here in Phoenix 115+ then its up to the mountains.

I feel sorry for all you guys that have that much snow......one thing about really hot, you don't have to shovel it or slide off the road.

PS. It will be spring break, so plenty of bikinis running around !

Usually early to mid March here. But I use it during the winter even though it is winterized.

I store mine at my home in a shed. I will pull it out the first good warm day we have with a night above freezing. I can't predict when that will be. A few years back we had a 80 degree day in mid March. Usually, it is closer to mid to late April before I have any chance.

We usually dewinterize the last of Feb or early, early March and have a shakedown weekend before we head for FL and baseball mid March. This year is different. Rocky is up for adoption and we're not taking any chances on anything going wrong before he finds his new home, so not even going to dewinterize until early April....unless his new family shows up before then. This winter has been the absolute pits.....by TN standards.....and is been brutally cold this week.

Spending our time and energy getting our house ready to go on the market in another week and hope to be FL residents by the end of April.

We use our's down south until the end of March when we bring it home. I winterize it and then leave it winterized until the second week of May. We then start 'summer' camping until mid-October.

That wouldn't surprise me! Here in Western NY I have more than 2 feet of snow on the ground and to get it out of my yard and into the street, I would have to move over 6 feet of piled up snow from the Snowplow. Very harsh and cold winter here. This morning when I left for work it was -14 degrees. It hasn't been above freezing at all in over a month! I must be completely out of my mind to continue to live here!!!!
