Sorry, but nothing is as fast as the fastguns. Hook the top, open the handle, hook the bottom, close the handle. Occasionally, have to unook the bottom, give a twist or two and then rehook.
Another advantage of the fastguns is they have spring action so doesn't overstress the camper tie down points.
Yes, the cost is higher, but the benefits are well worth them.
Sorry but one thing is a WHOLE LOT quicker and easier than Fastguns, a Stable-Lift!
It clamps to the truck frame when you retract it, eliminating the need for add-on tiedowns entirely. No hooking the top, no opening the handle, no hooking the bottom, no closing the handle. No occasionally unhooking the bottom and twisting a time or two and rehooking. And you forgot to mention that's all "times four".
Strap strength is plenty for camper hold-downs, I believe you'll tear out your camper's tiedown anchors before you break the straps. Cargo gets attached to flatbed trucks with them all the time. I think the lack of any spring action is the biggest problem. However, I've used them before when using a camper & truck combo that weren't yet sorted out.
