Tie Downs for 2019 Chevy 3500

Torklift is showing "nothing available" for my Chevy 2019 3500HD crew cab short box diesel 4wd. Does anyone know if the 2018 tiedowns will work on the 2019 truck? Thanks.
  • Someone has to be the guinea pig. Why not you?

We're talking about a truck that there's exactly, TWO, of on the road currently. They just started showing up in dealer lots a week ago. The odds of the other guy who owns this same truck having a TC, participating in this forum, AND having tried the 2018 Torklift tiedowns are slim to none.

As I see it you've got two choices.

First, buy the 2018 tiedowns and see if they fit. I haven't seen any advertising hype saying anything about "all new" so the design is almost certainly a carryover from 2018 with a few minor cosmetic changes. You've got a pretty good chance of success with this.

Second, sit around and mope until Torklift updates their information.

They fit on my 2017 GMC 3500, and this summer we ran into a couple in a new 2018 3500 and they had the same Torklift tiedowns I have.
Do they fit the 2019, no idea; however, unless GM /Chevy changed something with the body / frame design they should fit.

  • My ace in the hole is that I just couldn't part with my 2013 Chevy 2500HD....so, I'm covered! Guess I'll wait awhile for TL to get a hold of a 2019 Chevy and figure it out.I hope it's before the end of the month....I'm anxious to see how my NL 8-11 rides on the 3500.
  • Highly unlikely that something would change on the 2019 vs the 2018, considering the new HD trucks are coming out next year I think.
