If you like the truck you have, fix what is wrong with it, like bushings and shocks, and carry on. I bought my new to me truck when it was six years old and had 200,000 miles on it. I'd still be driving my OLD truck if it hadn't been totaled in an accident. $800 a month truck payments for five years is nuts. A new F-250 diesel costs upwards of $60,000 comfortably equipped. Fix what you have and drive it until the wheels fall off.
