Simple way to find out. Back up to your trailer. Measure the distance between the ground and your hitch, before putting trailer on. Now, put the trailer on the ball. Measure the distance again. If it drops more than two inches, your front end has gone way up.
Now, some say they can tow a house without a WDH. But, I don't want to be approaching them at night, as their lights are aimed too high.
Just because you don't hit your shock stops, does not mean you aren't going to be better off with a WDH. If your tail drops, your nose rises. No longer level in the tow vehicle. Not good.
