I still think something is amiss there. But who knows what these mfgs doo. All the 2014s I had would throw the TPMS alarm at a LOW pressure of 65 and you had to get them back over 70 iirc to turn it off. Have never heard of high pressure alarm. What psi on the low end triggers it? Did she buy it new? Is it possible the threshold have been adjusted?
You "can" adjust it, but now only by aftermarket software like Autel ?sp or maybe others.
The OEMs removed the ability to readjust with OE software right around 2016.
