Tire pressures while towing tt

Currently we usong our 2011 suburban (with a tow package) to tow our 32 foot keystone tt. We are using an equalizer hitch as well. Our question is why would this be causing our tire pressures to read so screwy. The front right and back left are re ading 4 psi higher than the other two tires. When we dont have the trailer on they are all fine. We had a smaller trailer and a reese hitch..in the past and never had the issue. Is it a hitch thing?? Thanks in advance!

    I find my truck tires will vary that much just sitting in the carport. Is this a new issue? It might have something to do with the tire beads on those two tires and with increased load and stress of towing it is more noticeable...just a guess.

    It is a new issue. Well new to the fact that we just got a new trailer and hitch set up. Our old trailer we never had a issue. And definitely never have an issue without towing. Also our atabilitrack goes disabled on ita own and says it has a problem...as soon as we drive with no towing its fine..

    That little difference does NOT constitute anything to worry about.

    The overall alignment of the WHOLE rig can cause the tires to track a little different. Tiny differences in the alignment of individual wheels can be magnified with additional load and maybe a slight track error in the hitch or trailer.

    It is an item of curiosity only. Don't obsess.

    Apparently the WDH is causing the problem, but I would not worry about 4#.

    Have you checked to make sure the right side tires have not been rotated and possibly the RR tire monitor is now on the RF or vice versa for the left side. just throwing that out there... I could see both drive tires gaining 4 psi before I could one rear and the opposite front tire...

    I think that the Stabilitrack is causing the problem. The wheel speed sensors may be not reading correctly and the system is applying the brakes on opposite sides. It needs to be serviced right away. Another test is to use a heat gun (available cheaply at Harbor Freight), and check for higher temperatures on the higher pressured tires. Heat increases pressure.

    Have you checked using a tire gauge? I get about that much difference occasionally between gauge and sensors.

    You are measuring before and after while tire is cold right?
    Cold is the morning before the sun hits the tires.

    I just cannot imagine hitching up causes the odd 4psi change.
