Yes, 10 years ago. Since then Carlisle has come a long way! I'm on my 2nd set and they have performed excellent!
I would step up to a load range "D" and then slow down to no more than 70! There is no reason to run at 75-80 at all! I'm sure the trailer was built to the tires load rating, which means the tire will be maxed out when the trailer is fully loaded! Even my current 11k lb GVWR trailer came with China bomb "D" rated tires!!!!!! When the first one failed after 500 miles I stepped up to the Carlise "E" rated tire and have been very happy. BTW, my trailer has a loaded ready to travel weight of 9200 lbs.
