Except none of those pavement pounder tread designs are good all season tires, unless all of your seasons don't have the white stuff in them. But the OP is from Denver, so....
However, take a set of pavement pounder tires, like any of the M brand models or that pic of the Sailons and sipe em as deep as you can and they do good on ice, but not great in loose snow or deep snow still.
