I would run THESE...note that they ship free until 12/31.

The tires have two different tread types.

The Michelin LTX MS 2 has a very good highway tread. Not the best for a 4x4 truck that will be driven off road or in the conditions you mentioned.

The Hankook Dynapro ATM has a much more aggressive all terrain type tread and works better in snow and off road conditions. Great for a 4x4 truck or even a 2wd if some one needs a all terrain type tread.

Just a quick update...

Finally got all the snow off my truck and had to make the climb out of my ice covered driveway, make a 90* turn and up a slight hill. The Hankooks did great and did not slip at all. I would have had to throw it in 4x4 had the OEM Michelin LTX A/T 2 (the bad ones as The Mad Norsky pointed out) still been on there. Those LTX A/T 2 were always really poor for traction in dicey conditions...even when new.

But again, I have always heard good things about the Michelin LTX M/S 2.

I don't think it's just your area, my dad is the only person I know who likes the AT2. I am looking very hard at the Terra Grappler G2 for my next set. I have been a Michelin customer for over 20 years, they don't have OEM sizes for my truck (MS2). maybe time for a change.

Sorry to hear that, just switched from Toyo back to Michelin, started driving on them in the late 60's! I went to Les Schawb once marriage and children came along to save money.
The new Michelin M/S2+ are way better than the Toyo's and cost less.

If you like "service" and being "bent over" at the same time shop at LS!

My experiences with Les Schwab have been stellar, I've bought tires from them all my driving life. That said, they recently have become very 'proud' of their tires, and I've started buying from Big O.

Michelin LTX MS/2 have been great tires on my truck.

I am running the Crosstech on my dually and have had good luck so far. They ride nice and not too noisy.
