Nissan finally got their specs up. The "GAS" XD is like a heavy half 5.0L or None Max Tow Ecoboost F150. Slightly less payload and equal Tow ratings. Max Tow Heavy Half F150 Ecoboost has more tow rating.
Diesel XD has comparable tow ratings to a Heavy Half F150 Ecoboost w/Max Tow but it's payload is slightly less than a standard F150.
Definitely not 3/4 ton but definitely a heavy half. After owning both a Titan and a F150, you'll never see another Nissan in my driveway.
The new 2016 F150 is very impressive. Great 1890# payload, great 10,900# towing, Very powerful with only 5110# vehicle weight and 385 hp/387# torque. An average of 18.5 mpg mixed driving with only 1000 miles. I'm happy so far. Oh, and thousands below $50K MSRP, and thousands below $40K with paying price.
