Stretch (or have stretched by a welding shop if it's not your particular skill set) your trailer tongue to reach under the camper to your hitch directly.
That's how I've done it for over ten years, pulling a 20' flatbed trailer weighing around 9500 pounds, depending what I have on it.

This. I custom-ordered the trailer I haul my TJ on and requested that they build it with a longer tongue. They were happy to do that and for only a nominal charge.
