Washington State DMV agrees with me

Here they say you need a CDL on any vehicle with a GVWR over 26000 but in actual practice they go by your stated licensed GVW, which you must remain within.
10,000 pound flatbeds are perfectly legal.

The state of California disagrees with everyone!
