The rig will stop faster and the toad will not try to pass you or shove you around if you hit the brakes while in a turn. You should have some Break away protection also.
That sums it up.
An unexpected emergency such as a child or dog running out onto the roadway and you'll need all the stopping power you can get. It could mean saving a life or not.
