As skipro3 and bigfootford posted, it is important to understand how to adjust the brake cable length. It is not complicated but does require a little though. As I recall, if adjusted incorectly it will not apply enough braking for full braking situation.
It is exceptionally important to provide a guide to hold the cable above the ball. Falure to do this, frequently results in the cable getting stu?k after a turn. See skipro3's post for details.
