Toilet water flow very slow

At the end of our last trip on the way home I noticed that the water at the toilet was about 1/3 flow, like it was plugged. Well I just loaded the camper prepping to leave and noticed it again, yes I forgot to look into it.The flow everywhere else is fine. How would I go about checking the line for a plug? Would blowing air thru it be possible? It still works but very slow. I have a Lance 185S Squire Lite. Thanks

  • Maybe a mirror would help to look behind the toilet, and see if it has a fitting you could remove. If not removing the toilet may be your only choice.
  • You know you guys lost me with half these suggestions.I have no line visible coming into the toilet like the house to take off to check flow. The incoming water is from a little white thing that's on the inside rim of the toilet, so no line to disconnect. If my other water things work great and the toilet is last in line how could it plug and others good? I'll go dig thru my paper work and see what I can find on the toilet, thanks for all your reply's.

I take that back, there is a water line in the back, can't see it but feel it, feels like pex. Don't know how I can get to it, seeing as it'e only about4" off the wall and tight to the back of toilet. It comes straight up from the floor area, not out the wall like home. I'm replaceing my WH when I get back from this 5 day trip, maybe I can see more when I pull the water heater. I'm talking the other end of the water supply line.Couldn't find any paper work on the toilet, suprised as I have for everything else.
  • Typically a problem with water flow to an RV toilet is the toilet water valve plugging up.
Unfortunately they usually are not serviceable cause they are a sealed plastic assembly.......replace.
  • Wow, I wish ours was at 1/3 flow, also wish it had a stop valve, Id throttle it back till it was at 1/3 flow.
But our toilet is plumbed direct and rigid PEX line, if there was what I thought a problem in flow (too little) it would be in the toilet valve itself. Id pull line to toilet-have someone turn pump on for a second (wet bath) to see if line or toilet?
  • I wouldn't pressurize the line. I did this once in a boat and it blew off at a junction that was impossible to get to.
  • The first place I would look is at the stop on the bathroom wall. Remove the flex hose first and see what the flow is coming out the front of the stop and the remove the stop to see if something is plugging the backside of the stop.
  • Did you winterize your TC, and if so open the proper valves?

  • I would suggest you look for a blockage of Sand and stuff in the line to the toilet or a crimped tubing.
