Tongue jack hole pattern
Being a new TT owner I didn't realize what a PITA it would be to manually Crank the tongue jack on a relatively heavy TT, especially for a 71 year old. So I'm seriously considering replacing it with an electric unit.
I watched a couple of videos of guys replacing their manual tongue jacks and in one video the guy finds that the hole pattern on the replacement is does not match his tongue. Stupidly he mounts the jack with only 2 bolts. Looked like an accident waiting to happen to me.
So the question is: "when purchasing the new jack how do I determine the pattern will match my tongue?" Is it just a case of the diameter of the current jack's tube or is there more involved?
