Tongue jack is slanted. Suggestions on how to deal with it?

Yeah, looks like the two plates are misaligned from the start..

Seeing that it's now 12 years old, you can either live with it or get it fixed.. ;)

Really, the only bad thing is that it looks kinda funny, and probably does not come straight down when you try to hitch it up..

It could also cause some additional wear on the screw gear, because of the angle, but who knows?

It's a simple repair if you have access to a plasma cutter and a mig welder.. :)
