The hitch I have is the Curt 15313. It is one heavy-duty hitch and a breeze to install on my truck. I bought it at etrailer.

That's 2,400lbs with and without weight distribution. It's a tough cookie.

Often wondered why Ford puts such wimpy hitch receivers on their F250/F350SRW gas trucks. 1250# (2") according to the 2015 Tow Guide.
Only by getting the diesel F250/F350SRW do you get to 1400# (2.5"). But that's de-rated to 1250# when you use the 2" reducing sleeve.
The duallies get higher rated hitches.
Good to know you can replace it.
