Tongue weight
If the weight on my TT's tongue exceeds the recommended 10-15%, what should I do?

The OP does not have a HD truck, it's probably a F150 and the trailer is not a TH, it's a 225RBS TT that weighs less than 5000 lbs.
OP, you worry when you do not have enough tongue weight so I would go with a WD hitch if you are putting too much weight on your rear axle. It would make it easier if you posted what you have in your signature even though you have not picked it up yet.
