- TxGearheadExplorer III had fender clearance issues with the Bigfoot on the 2018 RAM. I called Bigfoot about using eyebolts on the camper mounts. It was OK by them, so I used 1/2" machinery shouldered eyebolts to move the attachment point out. I also talked to Torklift. They told me to drill new holes for the truck attachment extensions 1" farther inboard so the extensions will stick farther out.
There was a lot of back and forth on this forum about it. Apparently Torklift watches this forum and I got an email asking if I wanted a relocation kit for free. Sure. So they sent me one. It took forever for me to install it. New grandkids and back issues. It was a relatively easy install. Drilling the holes in their steel was a bit tough. It moves the attachment points farther rearward. If you have a camper mounting point that is getting weak it will stiffen it up some by securing it to the other point on that side of the camper.
I would drill the truck extensions 1" back and see where you are.

I could run the rear tiedown pushed in so pin went through inside hole, or pulled out with pin through outside hole.
but I always used the outside hole to keep the fastguns further away from body if camper moved.
Plus I used to have pipe isolation on the rear tie downs so they did not hit my body when I went to remove them. - BedlamModeratorThe anchor point locations vary on the campers which can lead to interference with the fender. Narrower campers are also an issue on a DRW. The offset kit is for those cases, but I have not seen a list of specific campers that have interference issues with DRW trucks.
