Torklift Tie downs to guide you mounting your truck camper.

I was loading my truck camper tonight and I thought I would try hanging my fast guns on the camper and using the tie downs to guide me in. It actually worked perfectly. I used the rear tie downs and kept them in line with my fast guns. It actually was virtually perfectly lined up. My rear tie downs were in the furthest out position. Which is almost perfectly vertical to the tie down points on the TC. Just thought I would let you guys know. I just lowered the mirrors down so I could seem them and it was a piece of cake.!!!! My tie downs actually hit the fast guns on both sides as I backed in.

  • I would agree a dually would be a problem but works amazingly well on a SRW

x3 with my Dually. I have very little clearance between the front jacks and fenders. If I hung the fast guns off the rear brackets on the camper, they'd hit the fenders.

It's a good idea with an SRW though.

  • Glad you figured out a system. We all need some type of reference point. After a few nervous times I finally figured ours out too. We have the dually hips but now, Yay, I got it now. We tried tape in back truck window, no good. One inch on each fender using mirrors, me behind wheel and DH on the ground with remote.
