I have a 3.5 ECO and tow about 7200 lbs easily. Actually this my 2nd 3.5 ECO. I love the F150 and ECO, however if I were only using it for towing and a few thousand miles a year with a growing family I would definitely consider a F250. You may need a heavier TT at some point, I know I will not.
