Just a comment on the rear axle ratio, the Tundra has a low (numerically high) rear axle ratio because the transmission has relatively high (numerically low) ratios. It's been a while since I've done the research and math, but IIRC the overall gearing of the Toyota with a 4.41 axle ratio is very close to that of the Ford with 3.73.
