My F350 is my daily driver. That's all I drive and the family vehicle anytime we go somewhere together. Love driving it and much safer for doing so.
Buy the 1 ton Ford. They don't ride any different than a 3/4 ton and use no more fuel. Just have better hauling capacity when you need it. The overload springs don't affect your ride when driving without a trailer.
