I've not had any issues with my truck or anything getting gunned up. Maybe if I lived it town it would be different. As far as DEF fluid goes, it seems the longer I own and drive my truck, the longer it's getting between DEF fill ups. It's really strange. First fill up was within 1500 miles of brand new. I was thinking to myself then, "oh my gosh, what did I just purchase...another expense?" Second was a bit longer, now it's like 6000 miles before I add any and the sensors still show good. I'm not complaining. Def has become a non-issues.
