Towing My Cherokee 26BH Safely
Can anyone tell me I would be towing my new Cherokee 26 BH TT safely using my 1999 Dodge Quad cab 4x4 5.9 Sport truck? I have a sway bar kit as well... my truck gvwr max weight is 6600lbs, Thanks Dee

4500 pound dry bunkhouse will be 5500 pounds loaded for a long weekend with the family, maybe 650 pounds of loaded TW. Any weight adding in front of the trailer axles increases TW. Any weight added behind the axles removes TW.. I'll assume you plan to eat - take food and cooking/eating stuff. Clothes, toys, camp chairs, towels, etc. It all adds up. 70mile trips are fairly low risk, so take it slow.
