I plugged in my specs 2007 quad cab 1500 2wd with 6.25' bed and hemi and I got 2 weights. One says I can tow 7650 and the other says I can tow 8750. Not sure the difference. I feel borderline on one and comfortable with the other.
My guess is that it's either a gearing typo, or there was a tow package option.
You said your GCWR is 13,000. Where did you find that number?
As the GVWR and RAWR are the same on both ratings I don't think it really matters, you will runout of either of those before hitting your tow rating.. As is the norm on a 1/2 ton.
Edit: I found more info. Do you have the 17" or 20" wheels? It seems that is then13k or 14k difference. But as I said that isn't going to matter much if you hit your GVWR or RAWR.
