The newer trucks might have more power, better trans and/or lower gearing but I would still want at least a three-quarter ton to tow10,000 pounds. FWIW, if I were buying an SRW for that much weight I would go up to a 1 ton SRW just to be ready for the next step up in RVs. Whatever you buy, make sure it has enough pay load and towing rating and don’t forget to include cargo passengers and fuel. Craig
