2009 F150 only had the 5.4L in it and it's a dog compared to the new 5.0, 3.5 Eco and probably even the 2.7 Eco...
BUT, power wise, the new trucks are fine.. For that much weight... Well, it ain't gonna handle any better than your current F150.
Suspension, suspension, suspension is where it's at when you get into those kinds of weights.
Everyone's mileage will vary.. So, choose wisely... :)
