I love how mine tows with the 3:73's BUT, I tow less than you (7,000 lbs). If you love the truck as much as it seems you do, and have enough equity in it, I would trade it in and order a new one exactly how you want it. With the 4:30's. I wanted 4:30's but got greedy and took the $4,000 in rebates they were offering on the '13's. I wanted an XLT trim, and you can now get the productivity screen with the premium package on an XLT. Those are the only two things I wish I had, and would have done different. I have heard that the mileage differnce isn't much between the two gearings. Some on the FTE forum have even said the city mileage is better with 4:30's. Good luck with whatever you do, and you're right that these trucks are a joy to drive.
