Towing with a 3.73 F250 6.2L, will a 4.30 axle help ??

Definitely drive it first fully loaded. But I would not hesitate to make the gear change if needed. I would try the 4.30 before trading for a diesel. Does not seem like you drive enough miles to make the diesel worth it.
