I'm running 285's on mine which are roughly 33's. Two sizes bigger than what came stock. I'm sure 245's would let it pull better but I like the looks...period.
Might be a little tricky getting your hitch dialed in perfect with the lift, but I wouldn't worry about the tires.

Ignor the negative posts to your questions, most of the people on this forum will pick on anyone who remotely mentions a lifted truck. They are very close minded and will ignor facts and calculations.
They also tend to forget that they make 35" tires in 20" wheel sizes, which I have on my F350, and the side wall is actually shorter than the stock tires were. These are also the same people who also forget your Ram Truck in 2008 had 20" wheels stock with a near 33" diameter tire. So a 35" tire, which physically is actually 34.4 to 34.5 is only 1-1.5" larger in diameter, so less than 6% difference.
Also, these are the same people who don't understand that todays transmissions with Tow haul mode, holds shift points longer, so the gear ratio discussion is thrown out the window with the exception of off the line pulling power.
However, that being said, yes you will be fine with the trailer you have chosen.
In closing, for some reason this forum has a large group of people who just hate it when two major things are combined, Lifted Truck and Toy Hauler. Either one of these seems to start negative comments. I'm not sure if it is the median age of the group, or a mentality issue.
Personally I like this forum for the most part, but the exact posts you received here, is why younger people or people with non mainstream trailers, IE toy haulers, tend not to stick around too long.

No problems but carry around an extra set of U-joints for your propeller shaft and a tool box and it would be a good idea to have a restraining strap to keep the end of the shaft from burying itself in the ground when it breaks loose.

I would also cut the tow load in half from that specified by the manufacturer for your truck. The tires have already reduced the towing capacity by at least 15%. With GM the trucks with 4.10 gears are rated 25% higher than ones with 3.73 gears and your big tires have the same effect in a negative way.

We picked the one we're going to get, the Hyberlite 27HFS. My 08 QC with the Hemi should tow that just fine.
I'm planning on getting a good brake controller and a WD hitch.

for what it's worth, there are a few 1/2 ton towable toy hauler options out there that should work with your setup, check out the Fun finder line and also the Grey wolf line from Forest river.

I have a 2008 Ram 1500, 5.7L, it's lifted with 35" tires

I believe the OEM tire size was P276/60R20 which is about 32.9" OD, thinking you have 3.73 gears, rpm at 65mph would put you at 2469rpm. With 35" tall tires your rpm at 65mph will be around 2329, makes it approx. 6% lower rpm with the larger tire. Hardly a great loss... if you have 3.73 gears and the OEM tire size is correct for your 2008?

Toy haulers are heavy to handle the 1500 pounds of typical camping gear plus another 1000-3000 pounds of toys. That can overload a half ton before adding any toys, extra parts, riding gear, water, tools, gas cans, etc.

35" tires do reduce effective gearing as well as add a lot of rotational weight. That's a double whammy when towing two sheets of plywood through the air at 65mph.

Biggest issue will be the 35's. They are reducing your rear gear ratio. Thus lowering your tow rating. I'm guessing you noticed some reduced acceleration with those over stock tires. You will be putting extra stress on the drivetrain as well as sucking gas big time while towing. Put in a good stereo so when you're wound out towing that TH you won't hear the 5.7 screaming for mercy.
