You'll find the payloads on the Chevy and Fords aren't as high as you are posting either. What you are listing look like brochure weights which are for base stripper trucks and highly inaccurate. You still haven't mentioned if you are looking at reg, extended or crew cab models. Payloads will vary greatly depending on body style. Crew cabs are usually in the 1500lbs range, 2k for a regular cab. There are exceptions of course, the old gm 1500hd and f150 max with payload option.
When you look at trucks make sure you check the individual load sticker (found on drivers door jamb) for each truck to see its actual payload as it left the factory.
