tradeing in and up! advice
Hi all,
After our 1st camper (2013 35ft surveyor sport) towed with a 2013 GMC sierra 1500. Wife decided she wants something bigger...(insert your own joke here).
But im torn on the tow vehicle. 1st Im buying a heartland road warrior 5th wheel toy hauler, the 410. Dry weight is 15000 lbs, hitch weight is 3225.
IM torn in that i can get great deals on either truck.
2013 3500 gmc crew cab dually, long box, diesel. 5th wheel can tow 22,800.
or
2013 dodge ram 3500 dually,(mid grade trans, not the aison ) long box diesel, not sure the final 5th wheel capacity on this one.
I lean more toward the gmc b/c it has more payload capacity.
anyone running a similar set up?
ive heard more cons on the ram in reading, but at the dealerships i see more gmc with issues it seems.
thanks
