tradeing in and up! advice
Hi all, After our 1st camper (2013 35ft surveyor sport) towed with a 2013 GMC sierra 1500. Wife decided she wants something bigger...(insert your own joke here). But im torn on the tow vehicle....

Wow! 15k dry? She does want something big! Don't pay any attention to dry weights, especially with a TH. That's fools gold. Nobody tows the unit dry. Look at GVWR and then compare the truck. Sounds like you're going to need all you can get for that load. Also, pay attention to the GCWR, which is what the truck can haul in payload as well as tow, combined. The new Dodge dually with the Cummins is rated for around 30k, IIRC. I'm a GM guy, but that kind of capacity is tough to turn down.
