Trailer Feels Heavier After Hauling for Period of Time

Your brake light staying on, can cause the TT brakes to stay on. With many brake controllers. the brake lights ARE the trigger for the brake controller.

As for the rest. Yes, your weight estimates are laughable. And many other things might be a problem as well.... But the brake lights staying on, IS a problem FOR SURE.
