So, I have 2005 2500 sweet truck. I always maintain by the mfgs suggested timeframes. Seems like the consensus here is that this could be a problem on trucks that are not maintained. It also does not seem to be a huge expense to fix the problem. I love the truck. It pulls by 7500 Rockwood easily and is a comfortable ride. I was a bit concerned after reading the article, but after referring to the forum, my concerns have subsided. I will be vigilant and watch for any signs for the trouble.
