IMHO I would leave well enough alone. I've seen people do this and break hoses or a fitting leak or something gets rubbed up and causes a leak or even cause overheating problems by stacking too many coolers in front of the radiator.
If you're not over gross on the load you should be fine.
Wouldn't stack a bunch of coolers, really would just need one good one. As stated I've seen temps in the low 190's on steep grades. Last week I came back through NW Ga in the Smokies pulling some pretty step grades in third gear and 3K RPM pulling 7500lbs, temps climbed into the upper 180's, outside temps were in the 40's. My concern is pulling grades like this in the summer and a few thousand miles from home.
