Tri-fold or Roll up cover?

I just got me a new to me truck (in the sig)and i am looking at bed covers. I have had the roll up style with velcro sides on my old truck. I am looking at the tri-fold covers wanted to get input on the tri-folds or you have had both which do you like better. I am leaning more towards the tri-fold cause you can take it completely off with no rails beign left to get damaged by your load... lemme know your thoughts..

I use the FOLD-A-COVER model on 2011 F150 6'6' bed. Hard plastic folding panels and lockable.

Have had this on my past two trucks...

    No complaints...

I have the Roll-N-Lock version and really it is worth the extra money.. In my opinion . . What ever way you go , I would stay away from the old style Velcro as every one I had , the Velcro got old and lost its grip over time .and when the cover shrunk in the cold , it was very hard to work with.
  • If you have 8 foot bed Extang Trifecta tri fold soft cover is what I use and works great.
  • I'm another that loves my Retrax Pro. But since that's not an option. :)

I'd go with the Tri-fold. I think it just looks nicer when it's deployed on the truck or in the folded position than a cloth cover. Just my personal observation/choice.

That is nice! But a little out of my price range... I am looking to stay under 500 if possible.
