work2much, I couldn't make it thru all of yours either. Way too long. HA.
delta bravo, yesss, I know a class C is a motorhome.......but ours was built exactly like a TC attached to a '68 Dodge van frame. All wood, all wiggle, lots of earwigs. My bad
joerg68, when we bought the camper, it had been sitting on the lot for almost 2 years, unloved. There was a puddle under the bed, probably about a cup of water from inside condensation! The dealer never checked or understood about condensation. To help keep that down, I got some carpet and did the bed area, and did a lot of the inside wall around the bench area under the side window, which also helps when heating or cooling. I always keep a window cracked when stored.
As for jimh425, who said "I'm glad you like your TC. I guess we'll see how those LivinLite models hold up a few years or decades from now. It's a little early to compare them to older TCs." How long do you want me to wait? 20 or 30 years? All of the faucets, latches, jacks, etc. are just like the ones on everyone else's camper, and will eventually need replacing or repair. But the frame, roof, interior and exterior sheathing should be fairly structurally indestructible, unless I have an accident or go offload or gain more weight. HA
