trim damage

hey guys. I cracked a piece of trim, bottom edge of the front face. you can see the general area in the pic. its only a small section about an inch or so that's damaged. should I be looking for a piece of this trim or just sealing up with dicore? its only on the trim the wall is untouched. thanks.
  • thanks guys, im good with getting a new piece of trim, was more worried about water intrusion in the time to do that. seems like its not a big deal if it sits for a week or 2. ill likely tape over it and replace when we get back from our trip this coming week.
  • The trim should be pliable, if it's not, it's old and dried out and needs to be replaced anyways. Just grab hold of it and pull it out of the track, take to your dealer and get a new piece. You don't need to try and slide it, just yank it out and put the new piece in by setting the bottom in the track, squeeze it down and put the top in; working from one end to the other inch by inch as you go.

If that seems to be a problem - duct tape.
  • Its only the trim. any idea how to replace this looks like it slides in a quasi track and I cant see it wanting to move willingly.
  • Can't see trim very well, but if that is just the vinyl insert trim, just replace it. It is cheap and easy to replace.
