I love my 19.5's...but not on washboard roads. I considered putting my 285/70R-17's back on for this trip since it's so close to home but I hate being right at the max weight capacity of those tires. I had no problem with the gravel / sandy roads of Black Canyon, Mojave or Ivanpah.
Side note: I sure hope California can re-open Providence Mountain State Recreation Area someday.
