Firstly, thank goodness Sally is well enough to be back home (and by the sounds of it, is back to normal!).
When I read about that shoddy winch set-up served up to you by that hire company, my blood really boiled. Using this winch could have resulted in severe injuries. Jeeez.
Lesotho:
I had to do some research on Lesotho (Commonwealth of Nations). Its history is so intricate, it would take some serious studying to really get a moderate handle on its history. There was apparently an abortive military coup in Lesotho not just 6 months ago !
On edit: a bit of geographic trivia on Lesotho: It is the only independent state in the world that lies entirely above 1,000 metres (3,281 ft) in elevation. Its lowest point of 1,400 metres (4,593 ft) is thus the highest in the world.
