Great pics, love the kids around the campfire. How long did they talk about their outing?
You could have gotten the rear of the camper lower by placing your leveling blocks under the front wheels. Normal application is to place them under the low corners to help pre-level the rig. A stick on level that can be seen from the drivers seat or in the mirror help with the side to side. Still have to get out and look a the side for the front to rear level.
A walk through campgrounds has allowed me insight to many a camping aide. Campers are very adaptive.
