- Scott16ExplorerThanks for the great trip report Mike.
Looks like a real nice area. Just my type of camp ground. I will have to add to my list of camping places, Three pages long, lol. You do have to get a fishing licence for the lake correct, for out of state visitors?

Looks like a nice place to camp. Would it be possible to pull a fairly large (like 36 ft.) TT up there?
I wouldn't recommend it. The signs on the road limit the entire length to 40 ft, but the website recommends a maximum length of 26 ft. Short two-axle RVs, like my truck camper or a small class C, are perfect for this drive. I did see several trailers up there, but they were short ones like 19 ft and pop ups.
Thanks for the response. If I get a chance to go up there I guess I'll have to take a tent. - meatwagonExplorer

Have been up on Mt Lemmon many years ago before working on radio repeaters - Nice view from there as well... I miss my BLM days in the high country of AZ and NM
Was in work mode instead of camping mode however haha...
