Trouble with a Titan XD

The Power Wagon definetly, I remember seeing much smaller payload numbers for the XD when it first came out. The last 3/4 ton truck I had was a 1991 F250 and as I recall it had a payload of 3,200lbs so the XD would still come up a little short. Also, I don't recall seeing a manufacturer using the "ton" description for their products in common speech so it may be a little of a misnomer anyway. Let's see, Nissan made a "1 ton" back in the '80s that was literally rated for one ton and Chevy used to make a "Heavy Half". Other than that it seems to be term used for convenience but of vague meaning.
