Truck Air bags fill location

Putting airbags on the back of 2500hd GMC.Well within weight range but camper on top affects the head light aim.Where does everyone put the fill valves on their pu. Don't really like the license plate location on case it gets smacked by the trailer.Or when the camper is on its hard to get to.Thanks.

  • Like Buzzcut1 shared, I too have my (L & R) Shrader Valves on the passenger side of my truck. They are plumbed seperate.

In addition, I have $1 bubble Levels at the same location, both for front to back and left to right, so I am able to stand in one place, to level my truck. I also have another Bubble level on the inside passenger door of my truck. It is situated in the passenger door map pocket so it can be seen from the driver's seat and not from anywhere else. This allows me to get into a location, pull in and get my truck pretty good (front to back) before even stepping out from behind the wheel. It makes it a lot easier to have this before I get any ramps out, if even needed.

  • Passenger side, near the front of the bed so I'm not standing in the road where I can get hit nor crawling under the TC to get to the plate area. Saw no need for a in cab inflation system when I installed them 5 years ago and still don't.
  • I put my fill port in the cavity the gas fill is in. Works great.
