Truck and camper cover?

Do they make a cover for the truck and camper or is it camper only?I cannot seem to find a combo cover anywhere..Would a Class C cover work on a truck and camper?

I realize a sticks cover or carport would be best but it is not in my budget this year but I do want to cover both after last years terrible winter.I will be leaving the camper on my truck all year as I use it quite a bit throughout the year.

Any advice or ideas welcome.

  • Just be careful how you tie the tarp down especially if you're using a plastic tarp, but to some extent a cotton it canvas tarp will be abrasive too. It'll sand the paint on anything it touches when the wind blows. There's a reason car covers and camper covers are made of softer material.
  • Thank you..I may just go the tarp way this year and save my money for a carport type cover for next summer.I can't see spending a bunch for a cover that only last a couple years.
  • Just cover it with a Sunshield tarp. Search this Forum for Sunshield for more info.
  • There companies that manufacture custom covers to your dimensions. I'm sure they could build whatever you want.
  • For a fitted cover, something for a Class C is probably your best bet for a TC on the truck. Mine's under a carport this year but previous years I just picked up a tarp from Lowes and tied it down on the camper. Use a rope, not bungees. Easy enough to tie it down so I could still enter the camper and have the roof protected from snow/ice. In my case the camper was off the truck, but that's just a different size tarp and different places to tie the rope. And for less than $50.
